Tried to take this kind of water droplets. Found this at Penang Botanical Garden that morning. So decided to give it a try as I am quite a big fan of a few water droplets photos here in Treklens.

It its quite hard for me to take, because I do not have a tripod with me that time.

Set to Aperture Priority mode, choosed aperture f/3.5, aim at those waters droplets and thats all. I do not have any idea how to compose or from what angle to take.

Cropped a bit, added frames and resized.

I would have had a problem also Thong if given the same situation, however I think you have come up with a great individual picture here. You have created a blurred backdrop with a crystal clear foreground image making it easy on the eye. Very Nice!

The main droplets could use a little more focus but then this is pleasing to the eye. Good job.

Nice try, Thong. I like the colors and the unfocused background. I think that the droplets are a little bit overexposed and too sharpened.
It's very difficult to d that without a tripode.

Regards,
Alex

I like t he images in the droplets...Good shot and also composition.

i love the way this cuts horizontally, rather than vertically, across the canvas. it's different. also, the blurred background really adds to the sensation of the photo. this is so crisp...i really like the glare of the light reflected in the droplets on the bottom of the leaf.

Good shot Thong. Those water drops are very clear. You caught them well, Janice

No tripod? Wow! Let me congratulate you on a shot well seen and well taken. The reflections in the rain drops are clear and crisp, an important factor in this medium. You are showing that you have a good eye for photography and I am proud of you! ....:O)

I like how the trees can be seen in those water droplets. The world contained in a single drop.. Good job.

the texture of the plant is clearly defined...and the reflection is terrific! extra credit to the blurred background, very creative and shows really good technique!
