i had been very busy with works and training lately. not much time to check out the photos here in Treklens.. and seldome post new photo to Treklens..

This is a simple photo..of a simple walkway.. at and old building at Georgetown, Penang..

I felt so boring lately, and not much things can keep me excited lately.. maybe because of too much work or maybe because i am very boring with my job. Somehow, photography and my camera will always keep me excited and happy... :) i am glad i found out this hobby few months ago..

Back to the photo, I like this photo very much.. maybe because i am very weak in taking this kind of architecture or buildings photo. Hehe.. hope to improve my skills and 'eye'...

Nice "city" shot Thong
I like the lighting and the people in the background.

Really strong composition with its perspective and tones...

Excellent.

Not much to improve here, Thong... I would have cropped a bit more from the top, as that part is not so interesting. To keep the narrow aspect, a tighter crop from the left would be nice too.
The colours in the banners on top are an asset to the shot, but the pedestrians at the end are what make us see the dimensions of the walkway. Good work. TFS.

I think you framed this very well. Maybe a little more cropped at the top, just at the level of the first banner might be interesting too, but either way I think it's interesting.

For me the composition works fine. The non event of upper space is making the action in lower part more arresting. There is some city drama in half opened door and the silhouette of woman standing. Intersting photograph in many ways Thong.

Very well placed, composed and the colour tones are fantastic in this picture. It’s surprising how a camera can make your day better. TFS and best of luck with your job, I kind of hate mine sometimes as well.

this is excellent Thong! the composition is superb and you've created a great sense of perspective, i particularly like the burst of colour provided by the banners hanging at the top of the shot! really good work, well done :) - Ayda
