[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is my girlfriend. She likes photography too. We like to go out and take photos together. And i took this shot without her realizing. She was too busy previewing the photos she just took.

Does she look familiar? In fact, she has her own TrekLens account too. I think her photos look really great...although taken with a simple point-and-shoot camera.

I like this photo because of the overall mood and colors of this photo.

Comments, Critiques and Workshops are welcomed.

What a wonderful photo . . . it's so 21st Century! Fine color and composition. Wow.

hi Thong, nice photo:) looks like one from those korean or japanese horror flicks.haha. great lighting, i love the way u captured the mood so well.definately my favourite...thanks for the note, it's simple but also very meaningful. glad that you like my photos, didn't how u felt about them, now i know:)

Naturasl because we saw that so many time... Each time we take picture... we have the reflex to look at the lcd... if it's okay... Well taken!

Hi Thong,
Funny title...it's so literal, it made me laugh. ;P
Very nice composition, I like how you off-centered her. And the light is so soft, it really makes her skin glow. She looks so natural, this is how I like to see people in portraiture. Well done.

Le début d'un bon thriller ... une scène tranquille au coin d'une rue ... une jeune fille visionne son écran LCD ... et là tout bascule.
Nice shot ... bravo!

Maybe I would have cropped it more from the left, to avoid the window there - it adds nothing to the compo for me... But you captured your girl very well, Thong. I really love the light on her - and at 1/10th you managed a perfect sharpness... congrats! TFS.

She has indeed full attention for the picture she just has taken. Maybe a shot of you looking at a picture that you just had taken of her, when she was looking ..... etc. etc.

Very good and candid portrait. Well done.

Mario

hey i love the mood here. she's so focus on her little camera. however i think the photo would be more focus to have her plastic bag removed. as her eyes is looking at the camera, the viewers eys would be led to the camera too. i think the background at the left is distracting too. i have done a work shop with that part removed. have other other changes too. tell me what u think. i think your photo would make a good post card.
PS i noticed the ring on her finger, too. is that from you? :P

Nice candid Thong. Very cinematic feel with the colour balance.

I would've liked to have seen more of the left though (maybe so it covered the left third--better if there were a blurred person there).

This is a great compoisition and colors are so good.. I like dof on left. I also like the title and note..
I wish for the best for you and her :)

Excellent portrait Thong! Very fine lighting conditions, great colors, fine atmo! Excellent!

I echo all the others (although a bit later -- LOL). I love the photo and I can see why you do. your note and the title together really make me laugh. My friends, family and many total strangers are often seeing me doing what your girlfriend is doing here. The workshop is nice, but I like the original better. better DOF and just seems more like "real life." thanks. regards, ck

You've captures a nice moment. I also like the colors and tones in this shot. The lighting is just right for this mood. Thanks for sharing.

The portraits in your gallery are great. You seem to be doing great with photographing people. This too is a great shot. I like the colors, DOF and lighting.

I like how uncensored the image is. Her expression doesn't reveal anything- does she like her photos? is she tired? bored? excited? You jsut can't tell.

Unless of course if you knew her then maybe you could.

And you're right, the colours are nice here. TFS.

Biance.
