I like the effect, the use of a sepia like tone.
The guy, the bike, would have been nice to have seen the whole bike.

I like the composition, How I feel? I don't know, :) :)
Excelent shot though. well done on this composition.

Time stood still ? ?
I think his bike stands still, it doesn't work anymore so he's calling the garage with his telephone:-)))).
I'm joking, dear, I think, (without a note:-)) that I understand what you try to say. Also the colour used is a good choice for this scene, it is nice done, Eleen !

How do I feel about the shot?? Humm, that's hard to say! I like it, the tones, the mood. But what do I see when I look at it?? If I just looked at the man, I would say that a sense of sadness or of resignation towards lifes events, but then there's the scooter... and that changes things: He can escape ;-)
It doesn't really matter as long as it moved me, that's what really counts! Well done.

Beautiful moody photo! Great composition. Not a lot of contrast but it keeps the mood feeling dark. I prefer it without the text at the bottom but it is a great shot! JP

bonsoir Eleen.

Eleen good evening.
No the note except some words:-))) As I like the B&W and contrast, this photograph attracts me. There is balance between the Mister and the motor bike and the door in the medium, this composition makes me think of a balance.
Very beautiful work.

the scene reminds me of a typical neighborhood here where people would sit along the roadside doing nothing but holding and glancing at their mobile phones sending or reading SMS. that's how i understood your photo. the choice of showing it in monochrome effectively imparts the message you're trying to convey. Ron

I like the daring composition.
Great details.

Hi Eleen,
Cool shot. Love the sepia tone. Really make the image look old. Definitely looks frozen from the past (well, it is now in the past, anyways). ;P Love the old building in contrast to that motorbike.
Great shot and pp work.
Richard

heiya!! not the usual posting from you.. without those expressive and impressive notes.. haha.. anyway..i think this is very unique in a very own way.. without those notes.. this photo tends to express thousand of meanings.. where the viewer will enjoy it based on their own feeling and mood. you did a great job on the post-processing.. certainly transformed the image from a normal street photo to a classic and wonderfull piece of photo. very very well done!!!

Hi Eleen!

..hm..now i see..i just got back from your galery..i never saw your photos before..so it was the time!!!..all my respect to your work!..and now i see why u like that photo of mine..even if here u didnt write that tipe of note..

Now about this shot:)..its seems to me,like it was take in Spain ..for some reason..dont know why..:)..maybe cuz of the bike or sthing like that..anyway..the sepia is a nice idea, cuz as i see,the building must look not so cool way in colors..but now it gives an old mood and a more sad,or..maybe..lonely feeling....but i think, the man didnt have any problemes, just was chetting with someone by hes phone..right?:)...

i will came more often to visit your galery since now,for sure!

So see u

Well, I think you are righ Eleen. I see this photo, and I go back into the albums my parents had of their photos in black and white. You have certainly achieved your goal here with this one. thanks
