[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
hi all, another post from my outing at the site at Pearl Hill, Penang...the residential area for the exclusives....overlooking the sea, sitting on lush nature.

this part of the jungle fascinates me the most because of its quietness and also the way light plays with its shadows, producing effects that are almost surreal. i love the colors, its not the usual colors we see often in tropical forests.

i hope u guys like it, i haven't been out taking photos lately, so most of my photos will be from my documentation from work....this one looks a little overexposed, but somehow its one of my favourite because it sets a mood, hard to express:)

pp work include:
minor curves adjustment and sharpening.

Nice pp work. It does seem to call, but, I'm not quite sure what it's saying to me yet. However, it does have a sense of mood to it. And the composition looks solid. So, I for now...well done!

excellent sharpness... the mood is very unique and expressive... but in my opinion.. i really dont like the green leaves at the bottom part of your photo.. seems like a little bit 'out' from the rest of the background... but maybe..just my taste...

Love the forest and this is a great moody shot of the forest. PP work is excellent. TFS

Nice compo Eleen, with a good sense of depth. I'm not sure about the weird green hue on the trees though. It looks like copper green, and to me it is rather unnatural - but then again, I haven't visited the rainforest yet ;o). TFS.

Eleen, this pic looks gorgeous!! the harsh contrast actually looks really really good - the strong light and the really dark parts are very representative of a real jungle or forest on a bright sunny afternoon. the green at the top of the trees looks a bit out of place though, but the rest is amazing!
