Hi all... first of all, i miss Treklens very much. It had been a while since i last posted a photo, and comments on the photos here... Hopefully I will be active again, after settling down with my new job and new environment.
Ok... this is a photo i took last time, during a music festival in Georgetown, Penang. Its a local band called Seven Collar T-Shirt. Their music is very nice and the experiment a lot with noise and effects in their latest album. I like this shot very much.. the guitarist use a home hairdryer/hairblower.. and blow the pickup of the guitar... humming + windblow + noise = something interesting..hehehe.
I shot this shot handheld, with flash and slow shutter speed of 1 second.
Comments, Critiques and Workshops are welcomed.

Nice use of a timed exposure to bring out some good color without the need of a flash, neat colors and a little blur from the movement. Welcome back, and TFS.

Good choice of exposure. I can see the intensity of rocking done by mr hairdryer. Very creative indeed.
Hey thong! good to see you post something again. I really love your band photos. This is a cool one. I want to try that hair blower thing! cool. nice use of flash and long exposure. Great job. JP
Hi Thong,
Nice shot. I like the blur you go from the long exposure. It makes it feel weird. And, I think that goes well with seeing some guy use a hair dryer on his guitar. The lighting's really nice, too.
Good job.
Take care.
Richard
nice! very nice! a good journalistic shot.....
This guy is nuts, I can't believe he would do that! :P
Great idea with the exposure... still can't believe that guy, it makes for a cool shot. I can feel the intensity. :)
Biance.
