Skull cone head spider

| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
During my trip with friend in Penang, we have been to "Bukit Bandera" which means "Flag keeper" in malay.
To be able to reach the high hill, we have to have a 4x4 car and have a guide as driver as well because the road is very dangerous. The inclination is almost 45° degres with the U shape until the top.
After more that a half of hour of drive, we reached the top. During the visit our guide show me that there is a interesting spider to shot. The size of the spider is about 10cm suspended with the head down as you can sea in the center of his web wanting for pray.
I noticed only the aspect of the spider with the skull head when I decided to post this picture. I have no idea of the name of this spider. If somebody knows, I will be glad to have it.
Have a nice day. |

Hi Lybil.
10 cm !?! Woh! Je ne voudrais pas en avoir une dans mon lit! Sérieusement, c'est une très belle prise. C'est impressionnant les détails sur le corps et la tête. Je suis curieux : à quelle distance de l'araignée étais-tu quand tu l'as posé ?
Merci.
