This picture is captured in border of the waterfall of the lake Kenyr. The weather was very sunny and this dragonfly got a rest between two prays on the dry, warm and sunny rock.

Good capture, Lybil. Nice contrast of the colors of the bug with the grey of the rock. I wear that combination in suits all the time with a bright red paisley tie I just got.

Hi Lybil,

Being quite fond of these fascinating creatures myself, I am naturally attracted to the photo. Good title, and I love this one' vibrant red body. The definition isn't absolutley spot on, but this is hard to achieve on such macro shots anyway - at least for an amateur like me. But really, it's a lovely shot of an intriguing predator.
