[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Another tilt up, point and shoot photo while I was working abroad. The good thing beside work is to experience the place and things I've never seen before.

This was actually my first time in KL and luckily my hotel was only a walking distance to this famous building. I was in front of the building to look for the right angle and waited until they turned on the lights. The sky started to get dark. At least enough to get the dark blue colors on the sky before it's all dark out.

I used the spot meter mode and pointed it to brightest part of the sky then captured. Letting the lights of the building over exposed a little, as a highlight to increase the volume of the photo.

A great composition and excellent poit of view!

Great composition; it inspires a weird mix of claustrophobia and grandeur, I like it.

Technically, it's excellent. Good exposure, good sharpness, not much more to ask for.

i would also try a warmer WB

hello jean

I like your point of view, creating a superb picture

great appeal in the tilting structures here :)

i love the hardwork that has gone into making this photo :) and i thoroughly enjoyed reading the note :)

in my view, the sky's blue is complimenting the other blues present in the image and is contrasting well with the other colors :)

good work buddy :)

Hello Jean.
Yes, a fantastic building it is to capture.
I do have over one hundreds shot of it on all kind of views.
This one is very atractive too.
Good shot.
Regards, Jan

Really nice shot of the towers - I like the balance youve achieved of dark and light. The dark blue sky looks great here. KL's proud icon has been photographed perfectly here!
