These candles can be found near the St Anne Church in Bukit Mertajam, mainland Penang.
Every year during the 'Feast Day of St Anne' people would come to the church to light candles and say their prayers. This is followed by a huge procession down the road. The festival is a 9-day affair.
These candles are what was left 4 months ago. Now they're just a memory.

This picture really captures the mood in the area. Somehow, by looking at this picture longer gives you the feeling of what actually happened during the 9 days of the feast.

As usual, each of your photo never fail to impress me. This is a good photo i must say. the theme and the composition.. all kinda coool. although for me ..the stuffs (candles) inside the picture are looks messy, but i guess thats the feelings u wanto capture and put all of them into your photo. Great Job! big smiley for you!
