This is another Cattleya orchid up close and personoal. If you never looked closely before, you would've never know that it is a world by itself inside.
I particularly likes the spots at the yellow part. No idea what it does though, my father's already asleep and so I can't provide much info here.
I like this picture and I hope you like it too.

Nice shot! Are you sure it's a Cattleya? Looks rather more like a Phalaenopsis to me! Anyway, focus is spot on, and DOF is good - although I think you could have got the tips sharp if you'd gone all the way to f8. There's a little overexposure in the whites at the top of the flower though, and there seems to be a little blue fringing in the bottom right. That said it's a good capture :-D
Great macro with good sharpness and detail. I like the way the details are so clear that I can see the irredescent areas on the lower white petals. Well done.
