While on the way to Kuala Terengganu, we made a stop at this town Paka to have lunch. They served one of the best local food.
Patin with Tempoyak (The yellow one) and Ulam (green leafy raw vegetables).
Patin is a type of river fish that can be found in the rivers in Malaysia. The flesh is very white and soft. Tempoyak is fermented durian. One of the local delicacy and favourite dishes to be eaten with rice.

Ulam is considered to be the Malaysian salad. Malayssian salad contains nutritious goodness and is believes to have amazing effects. Some people even believe that if eaten on a regular basis, you could maintain your youthful looks! Salads and pickles can be cooked and prepared in various ways according to each race in Malaysia.

Thanks for the notes. I think it will be better if the plate is better placed and the remove the empty plate on the left.
ulam and tempoyak.. very interesting shot.. i am a big fan of food photography..and i like the colors in ur photo here.. but i think the composition can be improved in ur shot.. maybe focused more on one or maybe two main dish.. and try to play around with shallow DOF... tfs...-thong-
