Sharing with you this view of the Kampong Santubong beach. Behind a photo there is a story.

I composed this view for a specific purpose. The reason is given below.

You can see the Mount Santubong partly hidden by misty clouds, rising up to 900m MSL at the background. It is densely spotted by tropical vegetation along the slopes.

At this beach, you cannot miss the coconut trees, the rocks, sand and what not.

What you may miss...ok look and observe closely...is what I mean to show here.

You will see a fallen tree, down but not out! The trunk is flat on the sandy beach, but notice how it fights against nature's forces.

It refuses to give up. No, the green leaves grow upwards, the trunk is fallen but not dead. Notice how strangely, 2 roots from this trunk, hanging in the air, reach all the way to the spot below the coconut tree, and anchor itself into the soil there.

It may be said that the 2 roots will provide life-line to the trunk and make it live. I hope this gives you a little morality boost. Live and let live!

Interesting, how a photograph can tell a story. But here is how this story will end. Thank you for looking!

Cheers
bill

Hello Bill,
A fine composition, where the palm trees waving in the wind are the eye attracting elements!
Fine details and rich colours, a fine image indeed!
Greetings,

Hello Bill,

A nice composition with useful notes. The curved shoreline makes good perspective with the swaying palms. Thanks for sharing this and very well done.

Jusni

Hello Bill,
sorry it took so long to reply and also almost quite sometimes im lost in my work. Very pressed for time at this end of year.
A very well shown beach perspective by allowing the tree palms to play its parts.
Details are great, you managed the light very well.

Regards,
Foozi
