Hi Folks,

briefly from the Net about this flower.

Ixora Javanica has lots of common names like ponna, kheme, chann tanea, pan, tudung periuk, pecah periuk, jarum-jarum, ki soka, areng-arengan, Te prey, Jungle flame, and Jungle Geranium.

Anyway, Ixora is an evergreen, scarlet-red flowering bush, and is an indoor bonsai. Blooming season is May to September.

Hello Agoes,
I do remember this flower, and How I wish I can plant it where I live as it is rather easy to grow from what I was told. You tamed the a difficult red color to photograph by placing it against a dark b/g. It's a beauty. The isolated petals are sharp and the positioning in your frame is attractive. Greetings! Danilo

A superb capture here, nicely positioned in the frame, good angle and POV and as for the colour ... well you did very well here as red is notoriously difficult to shoot without OE. Lovely capture
