Assalammualaikum Foozi & Selamat Hari Raya,

in this capture beside the color tone and good lighting, one thing i learn here is to be "exclusive" meaning that instead of the whole flower compo, you only frame the most important thing that you want to highlight, as for me so far always have tendency to be "inclusive" to frame the whole flower :(, thanks a lot my freind and now i understand what my mentor try to tell me.

Seems like you have plenty of supply source of flowers for macro and a good variety of colors.

This lily is a bit unusual color for me and I have not seen it before. It really looks to me like 2 folding hands showing upward for a ceremony.

Nice slight off center.

Hey Foozi,

These are pretty wild lilies here. They do look like a couple hands (with about 12 fingers each) folding in on each other.

The central part of the image is kind of odd, though. All of the "fingers" seem to be drawing my eye toward the middle of the flower, but there seems to be nothing in there. Maybe a slightly lower vantage point and the focal point of the image would change.

I'm not sure what you had for lighting, but the large, dark portion of the frame on the right keeps pulling my eye away. Maybe picking up some of the green of the pad to contrast with the orange would look good.

I also think that the overall image is a touch underexposed. You have some beautifully saturated colors here, show them off! Go bold and be brave.

Great sharpness. You don't say, but I assume you hand-held this shot and, to be this close and shoot at 1/90 sec., that takes some real concentration to get it sharp.

Assalamualaikum Foozi. I can see that you really like to get down to nitty details of your shots. I have never seen one this close even in real situation. The f22 works brilliant with super sharp details and yet retaining the negative background. The pollen scattered on the petals is well seen and captured. Stunning shot and keep shooting and sharing.
