Good effort in photographing this rarely seen Rafflesia flower. You must have hiked quite a distance in the rain forest. I understand that it is the largest flower in the world and that it emits a stench to attract insects on which it feeds.

Hi Goh
Where did you capture this shot?
I tried to capture this last month when I was in Banding Island. Unfortunately, the raflessia is yet to bloom. We need to take a half an hour hike toward the hill before we could find the raflessia.
Your Raflessia look fresh and the lighting is pretty good. I don't think you could get such perfect lighting in the deep forrest. Moreover is looked very very fresh and I notice green leaves scattered among the dry ground. This couldn't be in the forrest.
Correct me if I'm wrong.
