What i love about this picture is d rythem @ the spirit of teamwork among the rowers .I was lucky enough to shot this photo at close range.Splashes of water is splendid.......!Comment or critism are welcome as iam just starting to play around with an SLR.

hello Safani

Welcome to TL community. Your 1st post entry tells me that you are not new to photography and from the composition, it shows you are familiar with settings and shooting action freeze.

The line of people in bright red and yellow surely provides interesting constrast but I think focus sharpness is lacking a bit here.

Resized photo can be upto 300kb to give better resolution. I am definitely looking forward to more posts from you on TL.

Welcome to TL. I wish hours a fun. Beware , you can become easily addicted. An original subject for a first post. As Bill I believe your image could be un focus a bit more.

I would propose a wider crop. The vertical shot keeping the wake of the boat and more space ahead ( or above ). The right as it is now, and a bit more on the left . Just a different idea.
