an impressive outcome from a creative mind indeed, Ndan.
you did well so far with your experiments and i like that name 'kitchen studio'.
as we always talk about experimenting, i start collecting props bit by bit.
one thing i surely can't match you - the technical part in the note.
itu latar belakang macam kurang mengancam lah. suram kelam - tidak membantu menaikkan kesempurnaan shot ini.

wah cantik juga ne adhan.. walaupun ngan explaination ko cna masih sa nda buli ngerti and ikut.. betul2 la makin cantik.. suka sa tengok tu kaler yg cantik mcm kena tarik ja.. long exposure gitu tapi ne cuma 1.6.. yg pink tu apa? mcm petal bunga rose saja.. apa pon well done.. excellent work.. tfs.

Very bold experiment and this is quite similar to studio work. The sharpness you have here is amazingly good. The light control is superb although I prefer the BG color to be different.

Some flaws here like the line of dripping trail and the dust spots.

I would prefer to see natural water color than greenish, or maybe more warm color. Keep shooting!

Hi Tamdan,
Very attractive! I view this with admiration and at the same time examine your exposure settings (f/16, 2 seconds, no flash) which are quite different from the settings (f22, 1/200 seconds, flash) that I have tried before on similar drop shots. You have just given me an idea and inspiration to try your settings. But for now, I need to rush to the grocery store and prepare a Thanksgiving meal for tomorrow. Salam Ramdan,

I remembered your early work playing with these droplets in your kitchen sink. The passion remains but the result is significantly improved. The speed is very slow but the sharpness is brilliant as you have explained here. The true exposure was probably the timing of the fired flash. Just wondering what lens are you using but the CD reflection is just awesome like when I was working with mercury in the fume cupboard.
