Portrait photo of my indie/emo band's vocalist, E.D.. He is one of my best friend, and we'd been playing music and in the same band together for many years. We went thru lots of things, up and down..etc.. as a band. I dedicate this photo to him...
The original photo was taken inside a music rehearseal studio in Bangsar, KL. I posted it as a workshop. The lighting, color of the original photo is not so nice..and i decided to edit and play around with with the CURVE. experimenting and pull all the way down and give it a darker mood... left only his face and some of the microphone.
Hope it looks ok.

Good portrait rfom the stage. Light on the nose is maybe to strong but it is usual for "stage photos".
I like how dark background become unit with his hair. The mic is great here as the element of composition and scenography.
I like it.

I think it looks excellent. The only time I like flash photography is when it is b&w. :) The colors are always terrible when I do flash photography so therefore I never do it. But this is very good. The shininess of the hair and skin are very cool and the mood is definitely intense. The workshop is not posted yet so I can't compair it but I am sure I will porbably like this one better. JP
Hi Thong,
Looks pretty good. Nice composition. And, I like how dark everything is with just your friend and that mic coming out of it. It's kind of interesting how he's in front of the mic but he isn't saying a word...a little bit funny, really. Anyhow...good job!

Hi Thong, a great b/w portrait. Very professionally done ! Should be on the sleeve of your cd, when you make one !
