[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Another experimental work on PP for portrait. The kids here are my my nephew, enjoying their holiday at their grandfather's village without worrying about hygiene - they were given a 'full-license' to get dirty and have fun, a no-no thing when they are back at their home in city.

I had used layer blending technique to get the color scheme and tone here -

The first step was desaturating the rest of the picture except the subject. I used a layer masking technique - BG layer in its original color while the masked layer (BG copy) in black/desaturated image.

Flatten the layer.

Make a BG copy into BG copy 1. It was desaturated once again using Channel Mixer and blended with Hue at 35% opacity.

Make another BG copy into BG copy 2. It was colorized into sepia tone and blended with Multiply at 10% opacity

Cropped, add a vignette effect, resized, and finally sharpened.

This is a really neat shot Ramdan! Adorable kids! Love the really close crop and the vignetting is real nice too! Good details and nothing is more fun that watching kids get dirty!

wah main selective colour suda, cantik betul, sia sangat suka. Mau pengsan suda di sia meninguk gambal ko ni saudara. Bah bila mau tunjuk jalam mau bikin macam ni gia? Sia ni kurang sikit kalu mau buat pakai teori, tapi kalu ada praktikal lagi sia suka :).

I can see that you have utilized this wide optics really well in your recent posts. I like the color here here which looks like a film image. Nice HPP in popping out the colors out of the b+w background. Subjects are very well placed in the frame. Very good work and best regards.
