The Petronas Towers in Kuala Lumpur, as viewed from the KL Tower on Pineapple Hill (Bukit Nanas). The smog & haze made it difficult to get a good shot. For a time these twin towers were the tallest in the world. The '101' building in Taipei (Taiwan) is now the tallest. Petronas Towers rise to 452 m (1483 feet). The Sears Tower in Chicago is slightly taller, but its' antennas are shorter.

Dear Chris, I like this shot a lot as it so nicely shows the surroundings which we usually don't see in those tower shots. Did you use some kind of filter to reduce the haze (UV)? Well done. Yours, Jan

Hi Chris,
Difficult subject... interesting POV helps you out and let you make an attractive composition!
A most amazing piece of architecture, no competition at all in that department!
Regards,
Pablo -

Nice picture, Chris. Good pov and also good the tower not in the middle. Good job.

Best regards,

Don

Hey Chris,
Excellent architectural, landscape moody shot.
Very nice composition and great job on getting this image to work for you considering the smog/haze and shooting through glass.
I like the wash on this image, it really works for me!

~M~

Moi aussi, je ferai de belles photos vues du ciel ! Pour Noël j'ai commandé un super hélico et là mon pote, ça va faire mal ! Chris, encore bravo pour ton coup d'oeil...clic.

Hi Chris,

Excellent shot and well done on the composition. Excellent view.

Mike

Lovey view and an excellent composition. You did very well in spite of the fog and haze. Haveing the other buildings shows how huge this towers are in comparison. Very well done. TFS

hey Chris! Holy crap that is an impressive building (and photo). You really captured the imensity of the structure nicely. very good composition as well. Nice job! JP
Points tomorrow.

That building is wonderfull! What a structure! I understand your feeling about the smog. For the last two summer... it's pratically impossible to have a good pure view of Montreal city. There is always at least a little tiny smog like that.
We pay our abusing.
That's a rich composition!

Strong impact of the grandeur of these buildings. Your POV and compostion definetly emphasize that ... Very nicely done Chris,
Sam

Good to see it from this angle. Lovely.

Another great city skyline shot Chris. I enjoy looking into deep views like this one. The towers are mangificant and certainly huge compared with other buildings. Thanks for sharing and for the info.
