[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
ROCKS, the theme for today.

i felt it would be hard to find rocks in
Maldives, the island nation where nature's beauty
is mainly corals, sandy white beaches and clear ocean water.but in this island Kulhudhuffushi, we could see these rocks as protecting wall for the regional port in this island.i have also included the wooden log,which is a constant reminder of Tsunami, as it is probably drifted here during that time.

may be this post shows how delicate earth is balanced by the forces of nature and how every human life has to respect nature.i am reminded of the saying by Hundertwasser,Austrian painter,architect -"if man walks in nature's midst,then he is nature's guest,and must learn to behave as a well-brought-up guest".

Very well shot, Raj, of this sepia version. Great composition and pov for the rocks. However, I find the subject behind the rock is more interesting!
