[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
whenever you talk about the maldives, its about paradise, relaxation and fine sands. yes, it is sans the powder sands and waking up very early.

i took this on the other side of the island (kandooma) wherein waves are crashing coming from the ocean. it is fortunate that direction of sunrise cast upon the villas. i was even more lucky when the tides are low.

shots fired via nikita (d300) using uwa (10-20mm) with cpl and square gnd filters mounted on a tripod and cable release (the only casualty of our trek which swam by itself).

Hi Jeff,

I always loved long exposure times in such situations. But here is something really rare - usually the water looks silky. Here it looks like a mist? A fog? Upper part of the shot is so reral - botom part like taken from a fairy tale. The light is beautiful. tfs

Hi Jeff,
I love the motion in the seas. The total mist has created an almost unreal feel. The warm late light on the buildings is wonderful and gives the photo some extra color contrast with the sky. The central placement of the shoreline might not have been the best choise.
