[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is a photo of a river somewhere in Western Mongolia. I took the photo from my window in a plane on the flight back to Ulaan Bataar from Olgii. This area is quite desert-like, as it is the northern reaches of the Gobi Desert. The veins of green are vegitation that suck up all of the water from run-off streams of the river. The scenery continued like this for a few hundred kilometers as we flew west over Uvs province.

Cropped from the 4X6 original. Also sharpened a little for the web.

Yes its amazing. Wonder what is the 'greeny stuff'that look like algal filaments, agriculture, green valleys ? Aspect strange enough. Thanks for sharing this.

Very interesting picture with so much color, defenition, shapes, and patterns.

Great view! The focus and the colors are wonderful. Also the name which you use to title this photo is very original. Currently I'm very surprised of the lot of beautiful photos taken from the window of the planes! What you do to avoid the reflection of the window?

I understand you talk about contemporaru art, now.
WONDERFUL it's enough. sometimes words makes so much noisy.....

I really like this capture of "nature's vein". Seen from this distance it looks like a painting. The colors are fantastic.
