Best wishes,

Hi Cordelia, this is a well composed photo, sepia works quite well here too. Overexposed sky and foggy look give a mysterious mood.. good work, thanks

Hi Coedelia, I haven't seen you for ages - how are you?
The mist here gives you a real bonus, making a very mysterious scene.
Nicely captured, but maybe cropping off a bit more of the sky would improve it. Still well captured and looking good in sepia

Hello Cordelia,
This follows the rules of paintings!
Just see how the closest layers have the darkest tones, fading to the very palest in the distance!
The shapes created by the buildings are so interesting!
I would have cropped the sky and had the points of the f/g turrets touching the top of the photograph! It gives the buildings more importance!
Just try it and tell me what you think!
Kind regards,
Bev :-)
Many thanks for your warm comments on 'In sepia - the main street'.

Superbly converted Cordelia. A lovely mist mood, well composed with fine detail showing through the mist. TFS,

Greetings Cordelia,I like your DOF giving a soft look to the background temples & more of a silhouette than a sharp detailed image works well, giving a delicate atmoshpere to the scene.I do prefer the cropped version in your workshop,in that the bright sky is less of a conflict with the temples.

wonderful POV and excellent layers effect, well done convertion, IMO the framing seems too high but i won't critique your choice as it looks good

Hello Cordelia,
I just discovered some very nice posts in your gallery.
Seems you have found what I am still looking for: your very own style. This one is different however but its great. The sepia tones are very appropriate to the majesty and age of the monuments. I would have cropped the upper part of the sky a bit which seems too dominating for me.
Have a ggod start into the week.
Greetings from Germany,
Thomas

wonderful and unigue shot of Bagan scenery.the sepia tone is the right choice for this classic place.outline of pagodas'form in foreground and background give an attractive look.with the amazing depth sense of pagoda in background, this shot look charming and present this thousand pagodas land image very well :)
