Her way of looking is so contrary to the paint work; she is tired of sitting and getting painted. Finally she is ready and there she must be quiet again for some pictures.
Paint all over; her skin is totally covered!
Poor child. It is like the crying of a clown.

Hi Sabine - Today this photo was on the front page ('featured destination: Myanmar, Mandalay'). We just spent our Christmas vacation there and have fondest memories, such as cute painted girls like this one. Her mom did a lovely job, she looks as sweet as can be and a skilled photographer took a memorable photo of her. I do like her expression of innocence and the fact that one can see all those details on her face so clearly. The DOF is just right to accentuate her face. Well done, and TFS.
