Hi Sabin,
Beautiful and idillic picture but there is a very unpleasent side to this beauty. The water-hyacints will very rapidly carpet the whole surface and prevent sunlight and oxygen from entring the water and kill pretty much everything living under this beautiful carpet. At the same time they will also prevent most of the watercraft from using the waterway.

Indeed, a pleasant place with the flowers, the temple and the sea in distant plan. Excellent colors thanks to abundant lighting (you did not carry magic torches to illuminate the landscape, did you?) Next time do not forget to shoot a close-up of the hyacints!

Wooden Windmill

Down on the river not far from the city centre is a proper windmill. Similar in shape and style to the Dutch windmills just slightly different in the sails.

idyllische Landschaft hast Du hier gezeigt, die fantastischen Wasser-Hiazinten die möchte ich gerne mal sehen. Den Namen nach glaub ich dass sie ganz toll duften. Das ist ein wunderschönes Bild das ein lächeln ins Gesicht zaubert wenn man es gesehen hatte.

Liebe Sabine - Dein schönes Photo bringt unzählige Eindrücke zurück von diesem herrlichen Land mit seinen vielen freundlichen Menschen. Wir waren auch an diesem See und haben die schwimmenden Gärten bewundert (u.a.). Die Perspektive - wohl vom Boot aus, oder? - ist dadurch interessant, daß man Gräser sieht, die in den Himmel ragen und dabei auf gleicher Höhe sind mit der Pagode im HG. Gut finde ich hier auch, daß man rechts am Horizont ein wenig von den bläuclichen Bergen sehen kann. Und daß gerade ein paar Wolken vorbeiziehen.
