Hi Cordelia, it is good to see you post more often :) this is a beautiful shot that you took under difficult conditions.. I like the "golden trail" behind the boats, I tried to reduce the effects of sunny and misty conditions with a little ws, I hope it is ok with you... thanks, have a good one :)

Hi Cordelia, while Alaettin's workshop is good it has introduced some noise in the mists at the treeline. A lovely soft image, well composed and lovely colour tones. Excellent foreground detail and nicely framed. TFS,

For you question..an ice storm is just that...it rains in freezing temperatures so the water freezes on contact..not nice.lots of power outages from downed powerlines.

A hazy morning scene has been nicely captured in this image which depicts a high level of atmospheric humidity. Golden hue of rising sunlight is looking fantastic along with a canoes which are adding life to perspective. A beautiful take Cordelia, well done.

Hi Cordelia,

Very nice image, I adore this soft lighting/tone... it really sets the image in a specific mood. Quiet... and smooth. I like this, especially with that slight flicker of gold on the water. The distance is beautiful, especially because of that soft purple colour... everything is very watered down... looks fantastic. The boats really make the picture... well done.
