This post is a message to everybody to be with the burmese people in your thoughts and prayers.

I am very sad when I see and here what is going on in this poor country. I have been there and I saw all the friendly, decent and religious people - most with a smiling face and working hard for a better life.

And for me it wasn't acceptable to live under such control, not many contact to other countries, internet was possible, but not every web-side - and no Handy-contact outside Burma!

So I hope everything will get better and it will be possible to visit this marvelous country again soon.

All the best for you all - Burmese people!

the shot is beautiful..
i have seen absently the news about it.. for me it's incredible that a country like that is living this pity situation.. cause i have lernt from buddhism to love that people.. Birmania, its millenarian culture.. i dont know exactly what's happaning.. but dictatorship, absence of freedom is always shit!!!
ciao Marco

Hi Sabine,

Watching CNN and other news channel, I felt so sad about this condition lately . . They are vey nice and kind person . .
This is lovely and beautiful picture . . Very sharp and great detail . . Very well composed . .

Tfs,
TJutjut

Many thanks for your kind words on 100th Picture .

Hi Sabine,
Its hard to understand why leaders feel they need to dominate and control people in such a way, especially when the Buddhist teachings are so clear about the right way to live.
I guess its all about money and greed as usual.
I felt so sad to see the violent action taken against such good peaceful people.
I hope something changes soon for the better.
A very nice shot of the temple by the way.
Steve

A marvelous shot Sabine! Really nice! I will say a prayer for the people and hope they can find freedom!

Janusz

My prayers are there to Wishnu. I feel so helpless when I see things like that, you can attend protests in your city but how much can this really help in such an isolated country. I pray that humanity can change.
Thanks for sharing, strong message. believe in peace.
Adam.
