An exotic concoction to give everyone that special jolt... forget coffee, one taxi driver told me this stuff keeps you safe on the highways and 'roads' as it's nearly obligatory for taxi drivers and bus drivers to chew this menagerie.
The evidence of Betel nut chewing is everywhere in Myanmar, a dark reddish orange stain on the streets, stairwell corners, and anywhere else someone has already spit will become a betelnut spitting depot (as if to 'mark' one's space).
The DOF was strained as I use no flash... and was forced to 2.8 w/ my slow 50 speed Velvia... bummer. |

The subject matter is very interesting. And I like the pattern of all the leaves with their fillings. I think it might have been nice to crop it such that all you can see are the leaves. The table seems a little distracting. On the bright side you did get a lot of them in the photo.
This would a good one for TrekEarth too. JP
