| Women praying to Kali at DasainKali temple. The temple is completly outside. Kali is a very powerful form of the same goddess as Sita, (the perfect wife). Kali slays demons. Sacrifices are offered to her for her help in important matters. Baskets are sold with sweets, red net scarfs, incense, fruit, and flowers to offer her along the path, also. My freind only has her prayers from her heart to offer today, but that is enough to hope for help. |
