[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
We are high up in the Himalayas off the highway to Kathmandu. We must walk quite a distance to reach the road. Already I am behind, and we just left the family home. We go through rice fields, ditches, a stream, forest, and occasionally on a narrow steep path. When the path is steep, I sit on my behind and just slide down. Modesty has no place when you are trying to catch the last bus of the day. Already someone has run ahead to hold the bus for us.

Such a fine view of the trail by foot running through this valley. Great capture of the country life style. A place that I must visit.

Nice sharpness and DOF in this shot. You are adventurous.

And to think people complain here when they have to wait 5 minutes for the bus to show up. That is fabulous scenery and obviously dangerous.

Hi gloria

A marvelous shot of the pre Himalaya hillsides, & a good downward pov, with natural color & excellent sharpness. The people on the track add scale & context. The black dog is a comic addition. Tfs!
