[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
All time seems to come to a stop in Syabru,a small 70 houses village on a very steep mountain-ridge in the
Langtang area,North of Nepals capital Kathmandu.
The colourful buddhist prayer-flags on the stone roofs
singing softly while waving in the wind and the chicken walking around are the only sounds here.
I was ""stucked""here for a few days with a friendly Canadian couple on their honey-moon(!),we enjoyed the
local hashish and rough scenery around us ;]]
It was very hard to go on the road again.....

Hi Jan,
Interesting roof top POV. I like the rocks holding the tiles down. The colors add nice subtle color to this shot. Nice work.

hi Jan

Depending on what you mean by 'stuck', this is a high altitude wonder of the world and the tradition of the local people is really very fascinating, including these prayer-banners and stones on the roof. A fine TL post from Nepal.

tfs, bill

Hoi Jan,
Heel apart zeg! Eerst moest ik even kijken, maar dat kwam door de hashish denk ik. ;-)
Bijzondere architectuur. Heel apart die vlaggen zo.
Joop!

This is different, but there are only so many way to show the prayer flags. Also interesting roofing which provided nice texture for the shot.
