Colorful dyes on sale in a market, outside the Hindu Sita Temple, in Janakpur, southern Nepal.

The saturation has NOT been increased. These dyes are used in religious ceremonies, & to add 'tikas', or 'third eyes', to the forehead.

nice capture, excellent colors, well done ;)

Hi Chris, what a colourful and busy scene. What happens when it is windy and the coloured dyes start blowing all over the place? Do they do much business. The men in the BG, do they do any work? A very interesting shot, thank you.

Good colours and composition. Well done

Olá Chris,

A market of exotic colors!Beautiful scene of a daily life.
Obrigado,
Fernando

I have never seen wind in most of Nepal (it never stops in marpha). I think many men NEVER work, why work, they have wives for that (divorce is possible now, but tough). God made liquor and gambling for men, washing, cooking, etc. for women..... I just had to say all this after the innocent questions asked you by another person. I like this picture, and I really had wanted to go to this place, but am afraid, becasue of so many strikes to travel much.

nice jurnalistic capture man! I like the scene: nice colors and the dark mens in background! I like it

Hi Chris,
Very nice shot. Great composition. Excelent colors, light and sharpness. Very well done
Regards, António

Now THAT is A COLOUR shot!!! Wonderful, I like the way the women are doing the selling and the men sit there making the jokes? Or is that wrong? THanx, (*_*)

Very good daily life shot, Chris, showing me a part of the world I am not familiar with. The colours are truly amazing and your composition really showing us the reality of this place. Excellent!

Very colorful image, well seen and captured, TFS

Hello Chris, very nice colors in this market. I love the tikas colors and textures. It is just a shame that you had to cut the head of the third man in the back. Thank you, byebye
