En 1988 pase dos semanas "trekking" en Nepal.
Nuestro destino era en valle de Annapurna.
Eramos un grupo de cinco personas.
Hicimos un recorrido que nos llevo hasta Jomsom.
La foto es de una pequena escuela en el valle
de Annapurna. En la proxima foto ustedes veran
otra escuela y una gran vista del Annapurna.


In 1988 I spent two weeks trekking in Nepal.
Our destiny was the Annapurna valley.
We were a group of five. We did a circuit which
led to our final destination of Jomson.
THe photograph is of a
small school in the Annapurna valley.
In the next posted photograph you will see
another school with a great view of the Annapurna.

Thanks - these Nepalese look fascinated by the foreign visitors, and at least one of them is very shy (the one hiding behind her notes!) From the look of these children, life is certainly not luxurious or easy, but they seem bright spirited.
