| Asta is very pleased to eat in a tourist restaurant. Nepalis always love pizza. It is pretty good here. Few Nepalis ever get to eat in tourist restaurants, too expensive for them. They eat lentil soup on rice twice a day. She was an extremly difficult child, till she attended school. The teacher recognized her brillance,a nd rewarded her with stars on her work. she has become a changed person. Her father still complains "she is ugly", her mother does not enjoy children. Girls money for cost dowries. She lives a few stores away from her parents with an Aunt, who has no children of her own. She has a loving mother in her Aunt. I realized as I left, maybe forever, how much I love her too. |

Well your note adds so much to this photo I have to say - a real poignance to it, and suddenly she is transformed from being a child's portrait, to being a human being with a story.
She doesn't deserve to be called ugly - she's a beautiful child and one with enormous potential from what you say.
One thing I don't understand: how do you know her, what is your relationship with her??
