| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| The (ex) King of Nepal used to walk around his Kingdom meeting the local inhabitants. He felt he could get closer to his subjects hearts this way. The King smiled twice that day, at the Boy Scouts. Normally a smile never crossed his face. He has since been displaced by the Maoists, who currently pretty much do as they please. They took away his power, and want him permanently gone. (I followed him all day in Pokara). The people who talked to me on my last visit to Nepal, thought at least they had a government then, when he was King, not total anarchy as is the current situation. |

Hi Gloria,
Is he in excile or in prison now? I really don't know much about Nepal - seems like the people there are getting a bad deal.
This picture is really lovely.
