| Asta wants the small piece of bread her sister has. She lives with her Aunt, Ram Kumari, who has no children of her own (in pink). Her mother runs a clothing shop a few doors down. Asta can run down and see her family any time. Since she is pampered and spoiled by her Aunt, who needs two sisters, and soon a brother to compete with? It works out perfect for everyone. When Asta went to school, she blossomed, because she is extremely intelligent, and the teacher said so, daily!!! Meanwhile, a neighborhood chicken has taken the chance of sneaking in to see if it can grab a bite of something in the kitchen, while everyone is distracted. |
