Be careful, okay? Do you know if there are stores in Pokhara, selling high altitude camping gear, & sleeping bags, for the Annapurna Trek?

Hello again Gloria,
The soldiers here seem responsive to the camera and friendly enough. I think it is to your credit that you are able to take pictures like this one as well as many of your other pictures, without unduely perturbing your subjects. From this and many of your pictures (which I generally very much like and admire) I get the feeling that Nepal, (a country I confess I know very little about)who's ordinary people appear to be warm and friendly, is a state not really comfortable with itself.
