All taxi drivers at the bus stand have agreed to wait in line, and charge 80 rupees. The ride by meter is about 20 rupees. I have said I will carry my bags to the street and flag down a metered taxi. I did. The grown "mature" taxi drivers are now making faces, calling me bad names, and acting like animals. This is the one who would have taken me, (his turn for a customer). He is laughing, insulting me, dancing around. They will hurt any driver that does not follow their rules. This is becoming common all over Asia now. He also only wants to take me to a hotel that will pay him a commission. I go to the street, get a scared driver, and do not pay 80 rupees. (In Varkala, India, they were so bad, it took me 4 hours to get a driver from the street. I asked the police for help, they told me to pay the 800 rupees. Thedrivers wanted 800 rupees, price was really about 60-100 rupees. My driver made a huge circle and got 132 rupees by meter, then literally cried, wanted 600). This must be stopped by the government, tourists start out hating the country or being cheated. I know now why people get off the buses at intersections. I intend to start doing this. these people act so bad, I filmed my driver in Singapore, he was fired.

Hi gloria

I have found Vietnamese touts & taxi drivers to be amongst the worst, (closely followed by some Indonesians), but please bear in mind, that they only earn about $500 US a year, which you & I couldn't live on. A good accompanying note, on a common daily life theme.

An excitement of a texi driver has been captured beautifully in this shot. Nice compostion, well managed light and contrast.
