Walking to the village

| My friend is way ahead of me. We are at her childhood farm and village. She cannot wait to go to each home ahead, and receive blessings for the festival. Where the land is too rocky and steep to farm, trees form small forests. I walk very slow in the thin air, and stop to take pictures all the time. Later everyone loves the photos. When I am taking them, everyone is impatient it seems these days. This is a wonderful place to visit. |

Hello Gloria
Wonderful composition and great b/w work very rich in grey tones, and a fantastic light and contrasts. The position of the two persons was very well seen, and give a great depht and balance to the photo. Congrats.
Warm regards, mb
I like this, Gloria, and interesting to see an image from 2003 for some reason.
I like the choice of b/w here, it seems to fit the scene somehow. And the character in the forground walking from shadow into sunlight is a nice touch. Cool shot.
I like the use of light in this shot Gloria, the sense of hazy heat vs. the coolness of the near shadows.
