[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I was mountain biking through Kathmando Valley when I came upon some kids playing on a swing made of bamboo. If I had seen this today, I would run around it, making sure I got shots from different angles. I especially missed the opportunity to take a shot of this swing from the front. I can imagine the shot I want - taken in front of the swing with a 24mm wide-angle, captured with the child approaching the apex, slightly slower shutter speed to get a bit of motion blur... ah well, such is photography and the moment is gone. Taken with Nikon FM2. 75-150mm, Fuji Provia 100. Scanned and cropped.

Wow, Kenneth,
the colours are wonderful, perfect saturation.
I love the motive so much. A great wish for me to visit Nepal sometime. Our adopted nephew comes from Kathmandu, perhaps he also would play with those childred when he weren't here now in Germany. But he's so happy here. Anyway, I love your shot, thanks

Hi Ken- I really like this shot- the children lined up posing for you while the boy continues to swing happily by himself- great colors and the mountain in the background is a great backdrop- well seen and captured

Best wishes
Steve
