Nagakot is a spectacular vantage point outside Kathmandu & Bhaktapur. From here, it is possible to see 5 of the world's tallest peaks. This is a wideangled 28 mm shot, so the Himalayas are a barely discernable range of snowcapped peaks in the distance. I liked the aerial perspective here.

Hello Chris, these Fan Palms make a nice fg in these splendid landscape. The fog on the mountains adds to the view.

Very well done. Cheers, Yan :)

Hi Chris,
I feel that you should have ignored all the stuff on the foreground and gone for the far-view of the misty valleys and the Himalaya's in the distance. I still like it.
Sunil

Hi Chris,
Your photo of Nagakot reminded me of my visit way back in 1992. Nice framing using the palm and the bare twigs leading one's line of vision directly to the terraced hill and the foggy mountain beyond.TFS

Hello Chris!

A nice panorama from this POV again. But here I think, it would have been better to move further on your right , to shoot further on your left, by lowering your POV as well.
This way, more details of the fanpalms would have been visible, with less of the bushes behind. But we would not miss the snow peaks on the left, and would not seethe pile of logs in the lower right.

But again, I am not sure if it was physically possible. I like the mood of your shot nevertheles. Keep on the good work!
Robert

PS: Thank you very much for comment on Will this twig suit?

I like that you added a few palms in this photo. They add interest. Good peaceful photo.

superb comp, thanx, M, (*_*)

Beautiful view of the distant misty mountains, what a huge expanse....the fan palm in the foreground is good too. I like the way the tree branches seem to be pointing towards the mountains. Very nice shot.
Cheers
Joan.

Hi Chris,

Very nice view of the Nagakot. I can see the mountains far away. Very nicely seen. TFS.

Kiran.

We have fan palms pointing the way - very nice.
We have distant mountains and some mistiness - very nice.
We have a terraced agriculture affair over there - very nice.
We have a pile of logs - nice touch.
The only thing I don't like is the scruffy trees intruding. Cut them down? Maybe next time.

This shot sends out the feeling of infinity and freedom. Lovely landscape expertly composed and well exposed.
Vassilis

I agree with Vassilis about the feeling of infinity. The contrast between the snowy mountains and the tropical palms is quite interesting. I also agree with Kit that without the other trees it would even be more spectacular but they are there.

Wow, super nature shot and breathtaking. What a great view Chris, excellent!

GT

lovely composition.
very good details & colors.
