Durbar Square is in the old medaeival city of Patan, which is in the Kathmandu Valley. The Himalayas can just be seen through the shroud of smog on the horizon. The distinctive red roofed building at right, is the Kings Palace. 28mm lens & polarized.

Your POV brings out the beauty of the entire place. Nice warm earthy hues against the mountains and the blue sky in the BG. TFS

Hi Chris,
What an amazing place and equally amazing photo. It looks like a place from a fantasy tale. I wish the two motor vehicles were not there. That would have made this photo timeless.

This looks like an amazing place and your high angle shows it off well. Good stuff.

Tres belle vue d'ensemble! Quelle belle architecture! J'aime bien le contraste des edifices avec le ciel bleu et les montagnes dans le lointain! Tres joli! Bravo! Michel

I'm not sure what I find so appealing about this picture. If it's the subject, the interesting background with the sky and mountains that took me forever to differentiate or the colors that I find so interesting. Great shot, thanks for sharing.

Wow, up high! I lve this place! The picture is so flat?????
