Very strict look, perfect focus in the eyes. I like this kind of crop and the fact that we see a close-up of the head of this hawk. Finely blurred backgorund, quite an original post! TFS.

Nice, crystal sharp eyes, and a pretty difficult decision on aperture.
A smaller aperture would have undoubtedly brought the beak into focus, but also perhaps, a little too much of a distracting background.
Excellent detail in the feathers under the beak too.
Good overall contrast and perfect exposure.

Very nice close up macro of the head shot, the eye sharpness is well done with good bokeh effect. Although I see the light is not bright to show the strong texture of the bird, there is no underexposusre here.

Hi Jahanzeib, it's a lovely capture of this hawk. The only thing I would suggest is to use aperture priority and us a much smaller aperture to get the whole head in focus. However, then of course you may have the BG too sharp, photography is always a compromise. Love the eyes though!

Very sharp on the eyes of this hawk. Good use of light - very diffuse - and good work on the background, although I can see the "halo" of your post work.

I think a smaller aperture would have been good though, to keep that beak - which is as interesting as the eyes - in better focus?
