[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hi folks

My butterfly contribution :)

After seeing so many beautiful butterflies I decided to check my archives if I have any butterfly shot :)
Fortunately have some :)

This one was taken 2 months ago, after spring arrival so many butterflies to be seen.
This one isn't in very good focus (as its not taken with any macro lens) but still acceptable (i guess) :)

Taken in Raw processed in Photoshop

Thanks for viewing have a good day

Cheers
JZM

Beautiful image!nice macro, nice work
great composition.
very well done.
TFS,

hello JZM
how are you?
it has given a hint that it has been heavily croped, the punch is missing, though you have got a nice dof and fine light but sharpness is lacking, is there a camera shake?
i like the composition and colours
thanks for sharing

Hi JZM,
I also think the focus is a bit soft here, definitely has the potential of being sharper. I do like the way you've composed this though, the BG really makes this butterfly stand out.

TFS,
Scott.

Hello Jahanzeib,

Your own critique explains the lack of sharpness but apart from that, this is a very well composed shot which is a pleasure to scrutinise.
Look how its back legs are moving to grip the plant; it's only holding on with its front legs!
The dof creates a complementary b/g whilst giving the focal images a boost.
I like it.

Kind regards,
Bev :-)

you NEED a macro lens right now!! but i salute you for your attempt :) this one looks very much like my butterfly photo :)

full marks for attempting it, 4/10 for the pixelated/smudged image.

Hi JZM,
You've done a really nice job on this macro. It's quite beautiful. The color tones are very attractive, the butterfly has just the right amount of sharpness. Bravo and TFS Julie
