I love this image . .
Focus on the kid and leave the rest empty . .
Position of the kid is heading to the empty space and his eyes straight to the camera . .

You have an adorable son. I like how he is positioned to the right of the empty space. It certainly gives emphasis to his size. Just a small baby in a big, big world.
