take my breath way with that shot the shutter speed works well with you got. Dramatic action well done.

Zahoor,
Very good action shot here. The intensity on his face is very nice. I like the dirt being disturbed by the player and the horse.
The use of available light is superb.
Very good technical notes!
This is a keeper!

Hi Zahoor excellent action shot superb timing. Good low angle composition. Well done. Cheers - Adil

A super capture of the side-lighting which with the help of the long lens and wide aperture renders the background nicely soft. Colours are great and caught this at just the right moment.

Hello Zahoor,
Good camera work and setting on this absolutely amazing action shot.
Looking at it you can almost feel the ground shake and the horse pulling for air.
Great timing too to get the moment just right and the explosion of dirt.
The DoF is the perfect compliment to the action in the foreground.
Great work, thanks for a fabulous action view. Good details in the note as well.

What a terrific action shot! He looks as if he is heading straight towards you... I especially like the lighting through his shirt and how it highlights part of the horse.

Nicely done! Lisa

Vibrant action shot! The flying dust is beautifully captured. I love the splashes of colour that animate this photo. As is often the case, we cannot make the subject act in the best interests of photographic lighting! You've handled the lighting as well as can be expected - it would have been better if the sun came from the left to expose the face better (not your fault). The backlighting adds interesting rim lighting effects. You've used the correct f-stop to blur out the background, which keeps the focus on the action in the foreground. Excellent work!

Wonderful action shot. Great mastership of light and time/exposure. A model for me !
