I like the colour comination used in this image. Mauves, yellows and a splash of red. The postage stamp frame is unusual and is a nice touch.

The postage-stamp post work flow creates a certain style and intrigue that I admire - although I wouldn't choose it for any of my own work, I frequently enjoy it in others'.

It does of course draw some distraction from the image it frames, but in this case the subject is familiar, the composition is simple and strong, and the whole combination works well in my opinion.
