[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Started my journey from Karachi very early in the morning. The weather was very pleasant and sky was full of clouds. When reached Lasbela about 190 km from Karachi, there were only scattered clouds in the sky. When I went further 15 km from Lasbela I saw this place. It was a pond having a very few tree and grass. Reflections were very beautiful. I told my driver to stop. And took 11 shots. 10 in NEF and 1 in jpeg. This one is 6th shot in NEF.

• White Balance: Cloudy
• ExposureProgram: Program
• ISO Speed rating: 200
• Exposure Compensation: 0
• Metering Mode: Pattern
• White Balance: Cloudy
• Focal Length: 40mm

PP.
• Copied a background layer.
• Adjusted the levels.
• Transformed the image to grayscale.
• Selected DUOTONE from Image>Mode.
• Then Selected Quadtone.
• And loaded Bl 541 513 5773.
• Saved in psd.
• Resized, added border and saved in jpeg for web posting.

It's terrific tone! I know its weird to say tone for grey scale! But that light make it have in my impression something like chrome influence! It's a compliment believe me :)
I enjoy that light who seems looking hard and soft at the same time! Very sharp :)

An interesting monochrome has been made Durrani bhai. Well balanced horron, excellent control over greys, sharp details and reflection in the water looks interesting.

Hello Durrani Sahib, Great shot. Good composition, mood, sharpness, POV. Everything is ok. The only improvement that would like to see it slight increase in the contrast. The low contrast might be due to the fact that it is a quadtone image. Anyway, good work and keep it up.
